- Squishing Peggy Straub's ('73) twinkies every day at lunch (maybe that's why she became a cloistered nun??) BTW, I believe Peggy passed away several years ago at a convent in Massachusetts. If anyone can verify or correct, please do.

- Early morning runs to the Crest printer in Rochester.

- The bus crash (class of '73) on the way back from Cassadaga.

Hey everyone ,

Can't believe that we are old enough to have a 36th reunion! Can we bring the grandkids?

Yes Eddie N is still around. Goes to St. Lawrence every morning for mass. Sees my mom.

Hey Monk...lets go skiing. I'm still living in the same house on Latta Rd. Stop by.

Still keep in contact with Bill Dougherty, John Klingler and Tom Ulp. Will relay websight info to them.

I saw Ed. Nietopski in April of this year. He came to hear me sing and said: "You sang the 'Ave Maria' for the Living Rosary at Mooney, and I never forgot that. I had to hear you sing again after all this time." It was wonderful to see him again, he looks exactly the same...

Hello

1973 Reunion committee met 11/04 (yes, I know it's election day.) Will report on meeting in latter letter.

Looking for past classmates and teachers. Know of a classmate or teacher we could contact? Send me an e-mail with preferred means of contact ie, e-mail, mail, phone. It will be kept in confidence only to pertain to this event. We are encountering some difficulty finding all 300+.

Also, Chuck "The Man" Cooper is putting together a website and link to website for reunion.

Hope to have event Fall of 2009.

Best wishes,

Tony D.

I've been on Long Island for over 32 years, but still call Rochester home. The first place I go after dropping my bag off at my Mom's is Schallers. It's also the last place I go before my Mom drops me off at the airport. We also always fit a trip to Abbotts during my visits. I've already told my husband that we will be retiring upstate when the time comes. The entire Di Liberto clan (husband, Jim, sons, Jim, Jr. with wife Alex, Nick, with wife Keeley, and Tom along with George the dog) will be coming into Rochester for a Carbone Thanksgiving. I can't wait!

For Connie Koerner Kane
Thank you for writing about your mother, Joanne Koerner. I am sure a whole generation of Mooney students remember her fondly, as do I. Joanne was head of the English department and the most colorful, intelligent, and delightful person! How many hours we spent talking in her tiny office, always finding something to laugh at and something interesting to think about. It is sad that she is no longer with us. I know she was very proud of her daughters and her grandchildren. Of course she is "guardian angel" to you all.
